Aloha, AMS Ohana.
With only about 6 weeks left in our school year, we hope you will find this month’s Middle Years Newsletter informative and full of good ideas for both school and home. Topics inside include:
- Year-end planning
- How to promote reading for pleasure
- Raising an appreciative child
If you are looking to add some activity into your family routine this spring, please check out the “Active April” calendar.
If you are interested in becoming a substitute teacher for HIDOE, there is a new class starting at the beginning of May.
Thank you to our 8th grade parents who have signed up to volunteer and help with our 8th grade promotion pictures. We could use a few more volunteers to make the day go smoothly, so if you have a few hours to spare on April 18th or 19th, please check out Sign-Up Genius. You do not need to be an 8th grade parent to volunteer for this event.
On April 27th, we will be offering a virtual parent workshop entitled “Honoring Your Child”. You will need to RSVP for this event in order to get access to a private zoom link to attend. Please view the informational flier to learn more about the event and how to RSVP.
