As school slowly phases to in-person learning, UPLINK (Uniting Peer Learning, Integrating New Knowledge) will continue to offer it’s virtual program till further notice. One hour of homework help daily is followed by enrichment activities complete with supply bags that can be picked up weekly to provide creative hands-on learning with fun and avenues for students to engage socially as they “hang out” together. We have taken advantage of the fact that we can bring in guest speakers across the miles virtually to encourage our students in Career Development. Together with Character building, we hope to maximize their opportunities to be successful in the life choices they make. UPLINK is federally funded and free of charge to any AMS student. We will follow the school closure schedules and additional days for staff training and program building. We opened our program on August 31, 2020 and we are still taking online applications as spaces are available.
